Renewable Oil

Focused on energy

Bighorn Energy always strives to make the world a healthier place by utilizing our years of knowledge and experience within the energy industry. One way we can do this is by evolving our already existing plastic recycling processes.

Bighorn Energy can take existing hard-to-recycle waste plastics that would otherwise end up in landfills and turn them into renewable oil.

Project Objectives

Waste Reduction

Converting hard-to-recycle plastics into renewable oil helps protect the environment by reducing the amount of plastic waste that accumulates in landfills, waterways, and other ecosystems.

Logistics

Reducing costs and saving time on logistics.

Social Benefits

Using cutting-edge technology to recycle waste plastics from landfills while recycling more plastics and promoting a more sustainable approach to resource use.

Community

Making a positive impact on our local community and the planet by supporting initiatives that address plastic waste challenges

and supporting community objectives by helping reach net zero by 2050.

Efficiency

It encourages the efficient use of resources by extracting value from materials that would otherwise be considered waste, promoting a more sustainable and responsible approach to resource management.

Waste Plastic

Challenge

Bighorn Energy understands that several types of waste plastics (HDPE, LDPE, PP) are difficult to recycle. Due to this, a substantial amount of waste plastic is not recycled and ends up in the landfills.

Solution

Bighorn Energy has conducted extensive research and reviews of waste plastic recycling technology that chemically recycles hard-to-process plastics (HDPE, LDPE, PP). This process turns these plastics into renewable oil.
